Looks like a cat fight is heating up in the music world.
On Monday Taylor Swift’s Rolling Stone interview was released and in it the 24-year-old country-turned-pop star said her new song Bad Blood was inspired by a superstar female frenemy, but the blonde refused to name the meanie.
The next day Katy Perry, who was quickly listed on social media sites as the possible bad girl (along with Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato), tweeted a cryptic message that suggested she could be the woman in question: ‘Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…’ referring to the main villain in comedy Mean Girls played by Rachel McAdams.

Katy and Taylor have been in each other’s paths for many years.
The two even seemed to be friends for a while, happily posing for photos together.
Perry could be very well be the star Swift was referring to as the singer pointed out her foe performs in arenas.
Katy is one of the few top female artists in that age range who sings in arenas.
The country-turned-pop star told Rolling Stone: ‘For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not.
‘She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, “Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?”
‘Then last year, the other star crossed a line. She did something so horrible, I was like, “Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.” And it wasn’t even about a guy!
‘It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.’
Still doing OK: The pair posed together at the 2011 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles in November 2011
Taylor’s Red world tour kicked off in March 2013 and ended in June this year while Katy kicked off her Prismatic World Tour in May.
The I Knew You Were Trouble singer told Rolling Stone she now avoids the other women.
‘I’m surprisingly non-confrontational,’ she said ‘You would not believe how much I hate conflict.’
