Around America’s ballparks in 40,000 calories: The gut-busting foods served up in the stands including a bacon and chocolate cheesecake and a burger so big you need to slice it like a cake.


The new self-serve beer stations at Minnesota’s Target Field might herald the future of stadium concessions – but they are hardly the most incredible food or drink options available nationwide. While the Twins basked in the glory of the latest ballpark innovation which debuted on Sunday, the rest of the country carried on pushing the boundaries of game day fast-food away from simple peanuts and hot dogs. However, nowadays a game is not complete without a selection of calorific monstrosities (such as the 10,000 calorie Strasburger, center and the legendary 1,500 Luther burger) that would turn the stomach of the carb-conscious and healthy, but delights the average fan.
