Rosario Dawson seems to have a strong case of the blues.
The 35-year-old actress slipped into a pretty sleeveless blue dress while on a stroll in the Venice Beach neighborhood of LA on Thursday.
Two weeks earlier the New York native stunned at the Cannes Filmes Festival in a revealing gown in the very same color while attending amfAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Cap d’Antibes.
Beautiful in blue: Rosario Dawson showed off her slender figure in a short midnight blue frock while embarked on a sunny outdoor stroll in Los Angeles on Thursday
Sleek: On May 22 at an amfAR Gala in Cannes
The Seven Pounds actress accessorized her above-the-knee frock with flat lace-free jazz shoes.
A very stylish light blue Bulgari purse with a snazzy gold chain and a bejeweled clasp was slung around her chest.
Coincidentally, Bulgari was the sponsor for the amfAR party she attended in France.
The beauty seemed to be in a playful mood.
At one point she swept her hair side-shaved hair to one side.
At another moment she put her arms behind her head in a relaxed manner
Driving home the point that she really likes the color blue, the Rent star also wore a blue pair of sunglasses.
Her makeup was light with pink lipstick and minimal blush.
The looker appeared to be walking down one of Venice Beach’s canals.
On each side of her path were flowers and shrubbery.
She stopped to pick a flower and held onto it.
Finishing touches: The 35-year-old actress strode along in black leather slip-on shoes and added a pop of colour with a bright blue purse
Beautiful brunette: The Sin City: A Dame To Kill For star played with her hair, sweeping it to one side, while shielding her eyes with dark shades
She attended the Cannes Film Festival in May to promote The Captive, in which she stars alongside Ryan Reynolds.
Unfortunately, the abduction thriller, directed by Atom Egoyan, was panned by critics and even met by boos at its screening.
In it, 37-year-old Ryan plays a landscape gardener, Matthew, whose daughter Cassandra was kidnapped from his parked truck while he purchased food from a store.
Some years later, a couple of cops – Rosario plays one – make a breakthrough in the case, finding evidence that the girl is still alive.
Not her best project: She attended the Cannes Film Festival in May, representing The Captive, in which she stars alongside Ryan Reynolds
Check it out! Rosario can be seen in the upcoming film, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, also starring Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeremy Piven, and Lady Gaga
The Guardian spoke disparagingly of the film: ‘As a straight procedural, this might have worked if Egoyan did not try the audience’s patience and insult their intelligence with how utterly implausible his drama is.
‘But line by line, scene by scene, it is offensively preposterous and crass. The film doesn’t convince as a conventional thriller, and as some kind of dream-like fantasy of noir evil, it is frankly dubious.’
It is hopeful that Rosario’s upcoming films will be better received, including Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, also starring Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeremy Piven, and Lady Gaga.
