She has been a big name in the fashion world since she started her modelling career in the 1980s.
And Elle Macpherson, 50, doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon as she made a (literally) shinning appearance on Lorraine on Wednesday morning.
The star turned heads as she arrived in a pair of silver jogging bottom style trousers as she opened up about her milestone birthday.
Car park perfection: Elle Macpherson looked incredible as she arrived at Lorraine on Wednesday morning
Looking effortlessly stylish she wore the eye-catching trousers with a grey jumper and strapped black heels.
Her long blonde hair was worn loose around her shoulders and wearing very little make-up she let her well known beauty shine through.
When asked by the host whether she had celebrated with a bang, she said: ‘No I actually had a really quite time with my husband and my children and we went to see the Book Of Mormon and we laughed so hard.’
Shine bright: Elle worked her silver trousers which she wore with a grey jumper and heels
Feeling fulfilled: Elle opened up about how happy she at the moment with both her personal and professional life
She continued: ‘My family had made a video of well wishes from Australia, close friends and my brothers and sisters. It was really beautiful.
‘It was really simple, I didn’t want to throw a really big party, I didn’t want to buy myself anything extravagant. What I actually decided I would do was set up this business called Wilco, that’s committed to woman’s wellness.’
And shedding some light how she looks so radiant, she revealed: ‘ I think as a woman when you get to be 48, 50 you have to make a little more effort and being well and being fit and being kind of healthy from the inside is, I think, really important.’
Celebrations: The model told Lorraine about how she had spent her 50th birthday
Low-key: Elle said she didn’t fancy doing anything too lavish for her special day.
Long and lovely: Elle wore her hair loose around her shoulders, while her make-up was kept simple
She added joking: ‘And obviously great lighting and a make-up team but for me it’s really about the way I feel, not so much how I look anymore. If I’m feeling good and if I’m feeling strong and if I’m feeling vibrant then I tend to look better.’
The Australian star, who has of course branched out as a businesswoman, discussed what it is that makes her feel fulfilled.
‘Family is incredibly important to me and my boys and my step children and my husband obviously. I feel very fulfilled as a woman today with the burgeoning businesses, you know I’ve had my lingerie business for years and my new super greens product that is coming out, so I feel fulfilled from a business prospective.
‘I have a lot of love in my life and I’m navigating through this phase of my life with grace which is what I’ve always wanted to do.’
Leaving in style: Elle slipped on her shades as she made her way to her vehicle.
Grace: The star expertly navigated getting out of her car as she arrived.
