Lana Del Rey is taking her show on the road later this year
Britney Spears will have plenty of competition in Sin City during the early part of 2014. Not only is the “Video Games” singer lining up a gig at the Cosmopolitan this April, a slew of other artists are on their way to the wilds of Las Vegas.
According to Las Vegas Weekly, Lana Del Rey will play the aforementioned venue on April 11. Apparently the singer is trying to stir up some buzz for her upcoming album Ultraviolence, her first full-length effort since 2012′s Born to Die.
If you can’t catch Lana Del Rey in Las Vegas, then you have a few other options available at the moment. The singer is also playing a show at the Comercia Theater in Phoenix (April 15) and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco (April 18). Motorhead and Megadeth are teaming up for one massive show at the Pearl. Folks who visit Las Vegas this April but aren’t really into Lana Del Rey should definitely consider giving this concert a shot. Both bands will perform at said venue on April 17. Tickets reportedly begin at just $45, which isn’t bad considering the talent on-display that evening.
Of course, tourists who aren’t into any of these groups and performers can always check out Britney Spears during her residency at Planet Hollywood. The singer is presently parked at the hotel for the next two years, giving fans plenty of time to catch her performances. As long as you don’t mind lip synching and celebrities on leashes, you should have a splendid time.
